☞ Enjoy the wonders of Assateague Island National Seashore. Sites vary from bayside forest to outback camping on the beach. The park is clean and filled with wildlife! Wild ponies rome the park as well as small dear, raccoon, and an abundance of waterfowl. Assateague Island 4 wheel drive passes can be purchased to explore the entire park while driving on the beach. Assateague includes several nature trails and discovery centers. Bring your bug spray, the mosquitoes also enjoy this all natural park especially when the wind blows off the bayside.
