Their brightly colored feathers, musical songs, and buzzy trills make them conspicuous against the dark waters and thin branches of the Pocomoke cypress swamp in early spring.

Ocean City Maryland Mesocyclone Storm This storm rolled over Ocean City Maryland on July 30th 2009 at 40 to 50 MPH catching everyone off guard. There were tornado watches for this particular storm but its un-clear as to whether any had materialized. Thanks to Bev and Mark M. for taking the Video during their stay at the beach and for giving the video to me to post it on Youtube!
