Ocean City is a barrier-island resort town in Worcester County on Maryland’s Atlantic coast, on the Fenwick Island spit between the ocean and Isle of Wight / Assawoman Bay. It runs from the Inlet at the south end north toward the Delaware line. Most visitors arrive via U.S. Route 50 from the west or Coastal Highway (MD 528) along the island.
