Answer
Route 50 (Ocean Gateway) is the highway; the Kelley Memorial Bridge is the fixed crossing that connects the mainland to the island portion of that route. Once across, Route 50 continues as Coastal Highway through downtown before MD 528 takes over as the main north–south spine. Navigation apps sometimes label all of it “Route 50.”
