There is no scheduled public ferry from Ocean City Boardwalk or Inlet directly onto Assateague beaches. Most visitors drive the mainland approach to the Maryland district visitor center. Boat access exists for private craft under strict NPS landing rules—not a walk-on pony shuttle.
