A resort fee is a mandatory nightly charge many Ocean City hotels add on top of the room rate—often for Wi-Fi, pool, or “facilities” access. It is not optional tip money.
Third-party booking sites sometimes bury the fee until checkout. Always ask for the all-in nightly total including parking and tax.
