Maryland and federal rules set minimum keeper length, daily bag limits, and seasonal closures that update with stock assessments—verify the current DNR and Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission charts before you book. Some periods allow only fish above a larger minimum size. Measure total length carefully; Natural Resources Police enforce on busy weekends.
