Answer
Ocean City sits in Worcester County on Maryland’s Eastern Shore—the same county that includes West Ocean City, Berlin, Snow Hill, and Pocomoke City inland. The resort island is the county’s best-known destination, but hospitals, courts, and many services spread across mainland towns. GPS “Ocean City” alone sometimes confuses island versus West OC addresses.
