Crabbing Day in Ocean City, Maryland

This Ocean City, Maryland crabbing day video from ReelJayB is useful because real trips include setbacks—gear hiccups, weather, and the scramble that still ends with blue crabs and a story. Use it to set expectations for pace, not as a substitute for licenses or size rules.

If you want a cleaner first day, consider a bay crabbing charter that supplies traps and coaching, or start with hand lines at a public pier. Read bay crabbing charters and where to crab before you buy every piece of gear for a one-week rental condo.
