Thunderbirds Over Ocean City Beach

The Ocean City Air Show is one of the town’s defining weekends: military and civilian acts, beach flight lines, and crowds that pack hotels from the Inlet through midtown. Ocean City Live’s Thunderbirds footage shows why people plan vacations around the schedule—sound, speed, and Atlantic backdrop.

Air Show logistics: arrive early for beach positions, expect gridlock on U.S. 50 and Coastal Highway, and plan for congestion. Lodging books out; flexible dining reservations help. Weather delays happen—follow town updates.

Even if you miss the official show, summer Mondays bring fireworks and a full free-events calendar. Ocean City’s event culture is a major reason repeat visitors return beyond “just the beach.”

Plan with events, lodging, and more event videos.
