Offshore fleets from West Ocean City and the Inlet target yellowfin tuna most often, with bigeye and occasional bluefin when water temperature and bait align on canyon edges. Nearshore summer trips sometimes find school yellowfin on temperature breaks closer than the continental shelf. Species mix changes weekly with Gulf Stream meanders.
