Overview
This is the cowboy side of the vacation—an 1880s-style town with gunfight shows, shops, saloon eats, a Native American village with dance programs, kid-friendly mining sluices, and arena nights like the Texas Trick Riders when the season’s on.
In summer the town has often been free to wander (roughly noon to 8 p.m., Memorial Day to Labor Day), and it’s sometimes closed Wednesdays. Show times move around every year—grab the current schedule from the Adventure Park site before you plan the day around a specific performance.
Ropes courses and seasonal add-ons (including Halloween-era ideas) come and go with maintenance. If zip lines are the whole reason you’re going, call ahead.
