About this event
Anime Ocean City is a fan convention weekend at the Convention Center. The 2026 edition ran April 18–19; the next published edition is April 3–4, 2027. Expect voice-actor guests, panels, vendors, Artist Alley, gaming, and cosplay meetups/contests—rosters change every year.
Badges are paid; recent years offered free admission for young children with an adult pass—confirm the live ticket matrix. Convention Center parking has been promoted as free for the event weekend. Read cosplay and prop/weapons policies before you pack.
Hotel hallways are not automatic photo studios—ask consent, mind prop width in crowds, and hydrate in layered costumes. Buy badges online when possible; door lines get long.
Quick planning tips
- Review the weapons/prop policy before packing armor.
- Convention halls run cold after outdoor photo lines—bring a light layer.
- Hydrate; costume weekends dehydrate people faster than beach days.
